Alison Doody
Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is a famous Irish model and actress. Her debut came in a Bond movie, A View to a Kill in the year 1985. She starred in 1989 as Nazi-sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan was in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody became a model after the opportunity was offered by an aspiring photographer. Her career has since developed into commercial modeling. Doody strictly avoided glamour, nudity and thongs during her modeling career. In 1985, after being noticed by the casting directors of a James Bond new film, Doody took a small part in Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody was named one of the 12 most promising new Actors of 1986 by John Willis Screen World, Vol. 38. Doody was still only aged 18 at the time of her first appearance in the Bond character. To date Doody is considered to be the youngest Bond girl. A different early film played a tiny part in the film in the role of IRA member Siobhan Donovan on A Prayer for the Dying (1987) which featured Mickey Rourke. Doody was a silent actor in a 1987 film adaptation to The Secret Garden, playing Archibald Craven's dream bride Lilias. The Storyteller episode from 1988 was her first appearance in the main part in the film Sapsorrow, alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) prior to taking perhaps her most well-known role ever in the role of Austrian Nazi-sympathiser and archaeologist the Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade playing opposite Harrison Ford. Doody has worked with three James Bond actors. Doody appeared in the 1991 British series Selling Hitler with Jonathan Pryce. The show was inspired by the Hitler Diaries publication scam. She then moved to Hollywood. She took over Cybill Shepherd as the L'Oreal spokesperson's role. She then played Flannery Sheen's girlfriend and his agent opposite Charlie Sheen, as Major League II became available in 1994. Doody, who had been off acting for more than 10 years, came back 2003 to play a small part on her role in the British comedy The Actors in which Michael Caine was her character as a character at the ceremony for awards. The roles she played include the TV film version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004, a booklet about the Holocaust as well as a short film called Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. Doody made an appearance in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. She guested in RTE's medical drama The Clinic. The project was eventually canceled. The year 2011 saw her debut on the first of two seasons on the E4 comedy drama Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. In 2014, she appeared on We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). The Almeria tierra de film award was given to her on the 21st of November in 2018. She also received one of the stars at the Almeria Walk of Fame.
